Our Backstory
Durubitu is a new venture founded in Zürich, Switzerland, but with a pedigree that dates back 25 years and spans the globe from "down under" to Silicon Valley. The founder has experience in the computer refurbishing industry from the early 2000's, building a successful company in Australia that is still serving its customers today. He also spent 10 years working for a big tech Silicon Valley company as a software engineer.
So at Durubitu, our DNA consists of:
- Using technology to serve our customers better and deliver more value to them
- Establishing trust and reputation over a lifetime
- Prioritising long term relationships over short term profits
Refurbishing and Testing
We take great care to test and refurbish our computers to a high standard, and we stand by our process with a 2 year warranty (see details on the warranty page). Our goals with this process are:
Sanitization
To sanitize both digitally and physically. Not a hint of data from previous use and all surfaces safely cleaned and sanitized.
Transparency
To gather every little detail from inside to outside so that you know exactly what you are getting.
Reliability
Make sure everything is working and catch possible problems early.
